Puerto Antofagasta joined the ceremony held at Plaza del Puerto, a gathering for reflection and remembrance to honor those who have shaped the port’s history and share that collective memory with today’s generations of port workers.
Puerto Antofagasta took part in the Mass held at Plaza del Puerto to commemorate Port Workers’ Day, coming together with the port community for a moment of reflection and remembrance.
The ceremony provided an opportunity to respectfully remember those who are no longer with us and recognize the generations who have shaped Antofagasta’s port history. It was also an occasion to share that collective memory with the women and men who continue this work today.

The session of the Port Coordination Committee for Public Services included a presentation by the PDI and a joint discussion with maritime authorities, Customs and ATI to strengthen preventive efforts and protect port operations.
The event enabled the port to establish contacts with suppliers that could contribute to its Master Plan projects and with prospective clients for its port and logistics services.
Representatives of the “Invertir en Antofagasta” mission learned about the port’s infrastructure and the projects through which the company aims to strengthen the logistics services supporting regional industry.
